Did you atleast grind off an area since the alternator grounds through that bracket? Coating it could cause issues if you didn't clear some area of bare metal off FYI.

Should see some numbers soon. I'm not a big fan of comparing dyno charts, especially when they come from different dyno's and geographic areas, but my build mimics what Jim Hall's has on his car. I'm only 12.0:1, where he is a 13:1 car. I'll be on E54, where he is on E85. I do have the Mamo ported MSD as my only change...Jim's is un-ported.

I'm in hot AZ too .

I'm guessing high 580's , +/- 10 rwhp , corrected SAE.

Yes, all 3 mounting pads where ground to expose the metal underneath, specifically for the issue you mentioned above.

Victor,

If you are dyno'd on the same one I was (probably will) and with your E54 and ported MSD, you will be 620 SAE rwhp, on that dyno. I am not suggesting it is stronger than Jim's on the different dyno.

I don't remember what headers your car has.

I have the B&B 1 7/8th on my car, and both Jim and I run the same Akrapovic EVO exhaust. I'll dyno on my 335/25/20 and my heavier 20x12.5 wheels...not sure if Jim dyno'd on his 19" carbon wheels or not.

If my car does show the numbers in the lower 600's, I'll see what my trap speeds are to back that number up. Just as importantly, I want to see what my uncorrected numbers are as that is the truer number of how my car will operate in our climate

Can't remember, but are you catted on your car or no cat ?

Pfadt 1 7/8" headers and their catted x-pipe. I was 602/492 SAE corrected on that Valley dyno and ~ 572 uncorrected at 93*. Power peak was 7100 RPM with MSD unported and K501. The K501 typically peaks at 66-6700 RPM w/4 into 1 headers.

It should be on the dyno Tuesday or Wednesday for my retune.
Unfortunetly, I did not use this particular dyno on my original Katech 110 setup...so the comparisons between those runs won't be a direct apple to apple comparison, and we were unable to dyno the car prior to beginning this build for a baseline.

Will this one be at ProDyno and tuned by NicD? If so at least the SAE will be a good comparison between your build and mine.

I had my stock LS7 dyno'd at both Extreme Speed and ProDyno in the Valley 4 years apart and they got the same 469 SAE numbers.

Yes, NicD and ProDyno.
I'll start a new thread when the numbers come in
