Alright guys. Here is an update. I do have the "Gen 2" if you will. The strange part is that the outlet main pipe is 3". Now I'm curious what the changes for the gen 3 were.

I see several people saying the Gen 3 is where its at and am interested in going that route to see if I like it. Realistically what is the fusion exhaust I have worth? It has roughly 5k miles on it.

I would like to know the difference between Fusion II and III also but no one seems to have that answer including the vendors... I read something to the effect that if your car doesn't have 700+ horsepower the III will cost you power. I have a problem believing that.

The III (also sold as fusion extreme) was sold as being louder with the valve open than the II with the valve open. It is also quieter with the valve closed than the II with the valve closed. How they accomplished this, I'm not sure. The flapper was also updated to a full 3" on the III.

I have the III on a H/C catless setup and its LOUD with the flaps open and drones horribly at certain RPM. Doing WOT through a tunnel or under a bridge will make your ears ring. With the flaps closed its fairly quiet with the windows closed (tire noise is MUCH MUCH more noticeable), though certain RPM still drone a tiny bit and its easy to drive around it by going faster or dropping into 5th. I have an 06 so it has less sound deadening than the later cars. I previously had the B&B bullets with the same H/C setup and it droned just as bad and it was a bit quieter than the III with the flaps open.
