[Z06] Rubber Bushing on Lowering Bolt Shreded

Even if they get replaced every 10k miles that isn't bad and they are only $75. I may order a set.

I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to get stock ride height from them. I imagine of the purported 1.5" drop, half of that is the same drop you can get from turning the stock bolts all the way down, and the other half is cutting the rubber bump stop.

If you want to lower the car more than what you can do on the stock bolts, I think its best to cut the stock bolts just below the cast in rubber discs. You have several lowering options depending on where you cut them. They hold up for years. After you use them they will take a set and you may need to re level side to side

Interested in the review as well. The front drivers side on my car sits a lot higher even with some of stock pad cut and bolt lowered all the way. Passenger side has bolt raised up.

1 down, 3 to go.

Done. Definitely lowers the car a bit even at highest settings. More so in the rear than front.
Drives fine, Fronts were easy, rears a bit more a pain, but not bad. Greased them up nicely and will probably make that a normal maintenance thing.

$80 for alignment, and you should be getting your car aligned every 2 years anyways. I've made that a habit and car is always out of spec. It always drives better with a fresh alignment.

Just had mine done and z06 tech said it was real close, but he set it perfect anyway to stock specs.
I dont road race, per se, just run 1/4 few times per year and spirited cornering.

No idea.
And stock specs SUCK. I would never want one on stock specs.

My guess is that the alignment shop doesn't torque the bolts the same as the factory. I'm at 139K miles and still on the OEM alignment. Never had any tires wear unevenly. It hasn't been treated with kid gloves either. I've driven places that most Vettes and even some pickups don't dare venture.

I've never had uneven tire wear either, so that doesn't mean it hasn't changed.
Toe moved a bit. Camber was still close but change .1-.2 per side.
