Default Rubber Bushing on Lowering Bolt Shreded

So on my way home last week from a trip to the Fl Keys I start hearing like a banging from my drivers side rear suspension.

A day later I get under the car to see what I see & it seems that the rubber bushing on the lowering bolt is broken.

I bought the car already lowered, & it seems pretty low, so I'm guessing original owner cut some of the ribs.

Anyways, I guess I need to get new bolts. Now the only questions is which do I get?

I know GM only sells them with the whole spring assembly, but there are a number of aftermarket options available.

I was looking at Zip bolts. The price seems very reasonable & I like that bushing design they have, but they seem to be on back order at the moment.

Second ones I saw were Pfadts but those are almost 4x the price of Zips, but those do seem to have a nice design also, with the bolt on a pivot.

What do you guys suggest?

Dude, your car is about 1/2" lower than it needs to be already.. Sorry, function over form in this case.

Yes, it's my OPINION.

Haha. My car actually handles quite well for as low as it is (on LG G2 coils)...it is on the limit of low and cannot go any lower in order to maintain both form and fuction.

I asked about how low they go, because the common aftermarket bolt doesn't quite lower the Z in the front as much you'd think. The delrin padded bolts above look about half the height of other aftermarket bolts and was just curious if it gave the car a little more low, or if the pivot prevents it.

No real updates. I received the bolts a while back, but just haven't had time to install them.

Although they look pretty good quality wise....

The website says they lower the car up to 1.5inches.

My rubber pads are trashed too, but I don't want lower at all. I would order these if they can do factory or higher ride height.

They do look nice, and while I like the integrated pivot where the pad meets the bolt to assist with suspension articulation...but it could also potentially be a wear/failure item down the road IMO. Either way...I agree with others that is a potentially good design.
