Default What gains to expect with MSD/Fast??

Currently looking into purchasing a 2007 Z06 with AHP stage 4 head package, BTR stage 3 cam, AR long tubes w/cat, Borla Atak.. Car has stock/ported intake manifold and stock/ported throttle body

What gains are to be expected with..

1) MSD ported intake manifold and/or FAST 102 ported
2) NW 102 throttle body

and

Dsteck Flex fuel Kit
ID850 injectors
Walbro 450/465

What is the most bang for your buck mod with this setup?

Get yourself a "Mamomfied" MSD and NW TB combo, and I believe you'd see another 30-35 rwhp over your current config.

What gains does an E85 setup accomplish on top of all that?

From my understanding, nothing unless you've really upped the compression. See if the heads had been milled and/or what the current compression ratio is for the car you're interested in.

Mine were right at 20 rwhp with the MSD and Fast from the testing was half of that. The MSD looks better too not that it matters but sure makes the decision easier. Mine also were not ported. I have enough rwhp that I will use so I did not port or go bigger on the throttle body either.

I gained 30rwhp and 30rwtq by switching to a ported MSD, NW102 from a Pead Speed Shop radical ported stock manifold and ported stock TB.

Where did you purchase a ported manifold? or i would have to buy one and sublet for porting?

Question... did you have to buy a cuppler to make the CAI boot slide onto the 102 TB?

You would have to have it ported. I use Lethal Performance in San Antonio TX, I bought it directly from them and had them port it, install it and retune the car. There's a few places you can buy them from already ported, Tony mamo and also peak speed shop I believe.

I have a halltech 103 air intake, my shop was able to reuse the halltech silicone coupler that fit the stock throttle body on the nw102.
