Those are sweet if they will work. I wonder how pricing is compared to welds.

Yup, I just got word on these too!
Pricing isnt available yet, they're still finalizing the details

But I did hear that the parts will be arriving late November!

As soon as we get finalized pricing we'll be able to start placing preorders for them.

I know a lot of guys have been asking for these, nice to see Forgestar listened
You could pair these up with a set of their 18x13 F14s coming in later this year too!

Send me an email at Jason@GetYourWheels.com if you're interested!

I got this this morning, showing weight and MSRP !!!!

17x4.5 15.4 lbs and $295.00 MSRP.

Wow.....these should sell like hotcakes if they fit the C6 Z06 front brake setup

Even the rear 17x9.5 and 10.5 are pretty light.

I agree they will sell. A set of welds s71 in 17' is around 2 grand. Looks like these will be around 12 or 1300. These will also give the car a different look since everybody is running welds. How is forgestar quality?

Thanks for posting that info. I called Forgestar a few days ago, but they didn't have weights yet. They are comparable to the RTS weights

I just confirmed with Forgestar, the 17" WILL clear the Z06 brakes!
15" will not though (of course)
Some interesting info will be released SEMA regarding a Forgestar partnership you guys might be interested in, I cant say more than that though

Accepting preorders very soon!

I have F14s and RTS. QUality isn't even on the same level. They are great budget rims, but don't compare to the welds.

ETA on these right now is end of November
So after custom finishing, they should be ready to ship right around the end of the year if everything stays on track!

Send me an email and I can put you on the list for a preorder as soon as Forgetar finalizes all the details!

I'm thinking that these use the F14 style, but are mfg with a different process, so previous comparisons don't apply.

Let's wait to see the product before making quality claims simply based on a name.

Personally, I'm happy with my GM 17's, that are nearly identical weight, so I have no skin in this deal.

I wouldn't call the rts wheels very high quality...

Plenty of people have bending and balancing issues, and they black they use doesn't stay black long, plus the polish finish oxidizes and doesn't take long before it looks like ****.

Compared to Welds.

17 x 4.7 front forged Weld Wheel RT-S = 15.4 lbs
17 x 11 rear forged Weld Wheel RT-S = 21.4 lbs

I've had mine balanced twice and they've never ridden smooth. I'm not sure if it's the Hoosier drag radials or what. Vibration right about 65 mph no matter what.

Please add me to the list to contact once the deal is finalized. I want to move to a dedicated drag setup for next year. Thanks.
