Dude, thats one car, you dont base market value based on 1 sale.

Just that everyone know dealers at paying $26 to$27k for these cars at auction plus fees, plus shipping plus reconn, fresh report from Manheim

^^Thats wholesale up there

Those of you that IM'd, this car has a clean title, 2 owner car no accident see Carfax below
So how much you want for it?

Definitely more than you offered, $18 to 19k is what im looking for or im keeping it this way when you put a new $11k motor in it you have a car still below market value with a new motor in it.

When every month 2-3 people are saying the same thing, then you can. Talking to people who just bought one 06-07s are going for $30-33k. Talking to people trying to sell them you get higher prices but when talking to people who actually bought one is a lower number and the same people keep having their cars for sale.

Yeah, still rare case but one could say you can buy an 06 Z with 50k for $32k most likely with a stock motor with 50k miles lets say.

Then you are waiting for it to blow right?

You can buy my car for 18, put a Thompson motor in it for 10 thats nicely built, $2k to install it and end up at 30.

Thats ending with a brand new built motor, thats pretty solid if you ask me.

For example, here is Thompson's pricing on their LSA built motor
http://www.thompsonmotorsports.net/p...roducts_id=247

Pricing is same for LS7 they just dont have it on their site but anyone can call.

That is def a good deal. But a lot of people don't want a h/c/i car. They want to mod it themselves their own way. The guy told me who wanted it was working some OT to come up with the extra $2.5K to meet my $33.5k asking price. I figured an unmolested, fixed heads, daily driver 2006 Lemans Blue Z06 is at a very fair price.

I guess my question would be... If you know how much it's worth then why the heck did you ask the question and argue with everyone?? Just sell the darn thing.

Not arguing just not giving the car away.

Turbo size is something I'm debating right now, i love how my PTE 62s spool now but they are just too small and produce ton of heat on high boost.

PTE has 6870 Gen 2s that im kinda liking however they arent perhaps the right size either for this size motor so might just go for 76s

Not many details yet, but did you see CPR's (single) turbo kit for the C7Z? I'm curious to see how it preforms...

If your serious about selling the car send me pic's and how you blew the motor up. What you did with the car. I have a customer that maybe still interested. We are not as a company the car is worth 10K maybe 12K. He maybe willing to go a little more than he offered eariler.

Mine only had 43k and I ended up 28,500 then added new tires and brakes/rotors so I was in it at 30k.

Many/most deals are similar as I watch daily. Fixed heads are going for roughly 33k with 45k miles often. Your heads are not even fixable.

All the replies you posted with prices of Carfax and mmr are worthless because those are for running cars, YOUR car is only worth what you can get and with a blown motor YOU take a serious hit.

Good luck with your sale or rebuild.

^^Sure, you can end up being around 28k into my car with a BRAND new built motor lol

So have your car with 43k miles on the motor or one with zero miles...i dont know.

I have no issues holding onto my car.

You have to realize that there are 08+ C6Z's in the for sale section of this forum with 30,000 fewer miles for $37,000.

when looking at sale prices of cars always throw top and bottom figure out in relation to age and condition (checking apples for apples).

I would say you should be able to $15k or so without much fanfare. a car not running is a mess. if it were a ZR1 it would be worth the car minus the engine. because it's a Z06 (many were made between 06-13) and this is NOT some special edition/model it's going to take a hit imo. so $15k should be right on.

you could get more for it, need to find the right buyer he/she is out there all depends on you. best of luck
