Default 10.44@129.9mph bolt ons stock clutch RECORD

Hi

I constantly frequent this forum but rarely do i post. I give credit to those who has helped me on my quest to prove that a stock ls7 clutch can produce low 1.52 60ft with over 130 quarter mile passes 50k miles and counting.
Huge thanks to Gary Hilden for providing all the bolt on parts from his personal c6 z06 a proven and documented 9 second combo. To Doug at ecs for fine tuning drivability, to Brandon at crazy house customs for dyno tuning and track analysis.

Mod list
ARH headers
Custom halltech mf103
Ported fast 102 manifold
Ported stock throttlebody
Catch can
Stock ls7 clutch 50k miles
Stock npp mufflers
carbon racing seat removed passenger seat
315 hoosiers on c5z wheels
mustang dyno tuned @475rwhp sae corrected

We are fortunate in the northeast for good air in spring and fall time i believe the DA was -400 that night at atco. Yes its only 475 but equates to alittle over 500 on a dynojet i believe correct me if im wrong. The car has trapped 134mph a number of times before!

Very nice! Wish I could have had some DA like that during this unusually warm year.

Yes DA, track condition, driver mod all have to come together. I tried the other day at a different track englishtown almost identical DA but track condition wasnt there.. ran 10.5s consistently

Nice job. Imagine what it would do with a real clutch.

I did some calculations if i can do low 1.40 60ft with an aftermarket clutch it might get into the 9s!

Totally agree you definitely have the full package deal, but for someone like me who was only looking for a 0.07s improvement all year, a little DA help would have made all the difference 😓

I don't doubt that. You have it figured out for sure. Way to go getting it done with less.

Sebast you have been an inspiration Lol but to answer your question, yes stock everything! Your probably wondering about the low trap speed i cant explain it but it has gone as high as 134mph

Loll, thank you sir for kind of words

Sometimes, the stock clutch acting up a little and its hard to feel, but it slip enought through the entire run and the mp/h drop a bit. 134 mp/h is no joke. Is good for 10.1x to 10.2x. The limiting factor, as you know is the stock clutch in you're quest for 10.0 to 9.9x .

Best of luck and keep us updated

Seb
