New Z06 Owner Saying Hello
So first off a little about myself, grew up in Virginia and now residing Maryland in the Fort Meade area. Joined the Navy at 18 straight out of high school and married my wife at 19. This allowed me to buy my dream car at 22 which i am so grateful for. I drove 5 1/2 hours to Ohio to pick her up but was well worth the drive. The drive back was great except for the lower back support of the stock seats and the stock radio not have bluetooth or an AUX cord.
Now the car:
571 hp 521 lb-ft torque
Brian tooley racing LS7 stage III camshaft
New timing chain and gears
stock heads we're completely rebuilt ported and polished new valves and springs
Airaid cold air intake and filter
Kooks stainless steel long tube headers and X pipe
hurst short throw shifter
ZR1 rear spoiler
New Hawk performance brake pads

Congratulations for this beautiful car.thats a clean beast you got there.
What do you think about buying a moded car?are you satisfied with the driveability?im thinking about getting a cammed Z too but im not 100% sure since I heard about the lope/vibration and low rpm driving problems as it will be my DD.
thanks in advance and enjoy the car

For me this is not my first time buying a modified car, im not afraid of buying a modified car I just make sure that all of the parts are quality and that there is some sort of documentation of the modifications. With that being said I knew I did not want a heavily modified Vette so I looked for Z06s with the heads fixed and preferably a cam. Im not familiar with "lobe vibration" but I can say my car does not have any weird vibrations. This has been my first car with a cam and I love it, for my drivability seems to be normal besides when I am under 1700 rpm the car "chatters" when I barely press the throttle trying to keep a constant speed. For me to make this not happen I simply will either be on or off the throttle and will let the car coast when trying to maintain a certain speed. I wouldn't hesitate to dd the car.
