New Jessel pedestal rockers at PRI
This might interest some here as another rocker option. Guy said they have been out about a week. Steel body.

Very interesting...Looks like they're on stock springs & valves, wonder how that would work out on the spintron? Of course this is only a display.

Very nice. Looks like it fits inside the head where the adjuster is too. Probably fits under factory valve cover.

I am 100% sure this forum will find fault with them...

Jessel said they really aren't cost effective for our intended use. They are geared towards class racing that mandate use of stock mounted rocker systems. Looking at $2800 or so for these. Might as well go full shaft mount at that price.
They do look fancy though.

Make no mistake though, with big aggressive cams, shaft mount is the way to go IMO...these are still a great option for the bolt on crowd running a stock to mid-range cam.
Thanks again for posting these up...

That's a pretty penny...but maybe they get into the hands of retailers and speed shops to drive the price down a few hundred bucks under MSRP...and I bet there is still a market for those that would prefer the idea of a shaft mount setup; but don't want to pull the heads to go through the time and expense of machining the heads for the shaft mount setup.

I agree they have a place in the market. Not everyone is willing to yank the heads off for the extra machining required with full shaft system. I recently pulled my head(blown head gasket) and found some unpleasant hourglass wear patterns. I'll be going to some sort of roller tip rocker most likely. I'll try and post a thread about it in a few days.

^^ Precisely what I would run if my build needed a shaft mount setup.

Why do you say that? Because it's not on a single shaft?

Well, there is no reason to have a billet rocker on the intake. I do that so I can to keep weight off the intake valve, It wouldn't be much weight but there is extra weight the valve train has to move. I put a billet exhaust rocker because it opens against cylinder pressure. being my car is a TT set up the exhaust sees a lot of cylinder pressure.
