Well I've had this half dollar size orange puddle on the floor of the garage a couple times in the last month. Car is a weekender so it doesn't get driven much but not overheating. Got under it yesterday and could see where it was running down and dripping on the balancer and spring. Can't really see much looking up from underneath but I can feel the stickiness on the underside of the water pump housing but can't pinpoint exactly where.
I suspect the wp is failing. Car is 06 with has 11.6k miles but has had heads & cam a little over a year ago.
How difficult is it to change out the pump? I would go with a GM pump and gaskets.
