That will be a great build! ARH 2", yes? Plenty of power, but very streetable...

1 7/8" at this point. I've read the threads about the 2" LTs not affecting torque, but I've been referred to the 1 7/8 because of possible torque loss and the fact that it is already a tight squeeze in there. I will never go blown and they have a lot of experience with LS engines and ARH.

I understand the figment being good with the BB headers, but I'm surprised that they perform well also, given that they're built:
1) to bolt up to stock H-pipe location, and
2) they have multiple welds instead of a single mandrel bent tube for some of the cylinders

But it's good to hear that despite what might seem to be a limitation, they another good option.

BB the other good option for years 06-11 only... I'm glad I did not find out the hard way.

Agreed. Having said that, these "pro tuning" LT's are amongst the worst header designs I've ever witnessed. This isn't a merge...this is a traffic jam of primaries slamming into roughly a foot long section of 3" pipe. Maybe a slight upgrade over OE manifolds...but damn these are just bad in every way from what I see. The primaries actually look "mid-length" and the "collector" is just a section of 3" pipe. These are LS2/LS3 "LT's" according to the website, although it also mentions LS7 in the fitment section. They can be had for $289 though...

Received the BTR Stage 2 cam from Cam Motion today, 230/246 .644/.630. The lift on the side of the cam says .379 for intake and .371 for exhaust. I measured the lift with a caliper to confirm. Max lift was 1.770" on intake, base circle of 1.391".

1.770 - 1.391 = .379
.379 x 1.7 = .644 LS engines with 1.7 rocker ratio
.379 x 1.8 = .682!!

The cam was ordered under the LS7 Camshafts category.

New BTR Stage II spec Cam Motion cam ordered on 1.8 rocker ratio this time. The guys at BTR were real stand up guys! Thanks to Jared and Brian.

And some car **** courtesy of MSD and Tony Mamo...

Any guesses on hp/tq numbers when it is finished in late April?

Callaway Honker CAI, Mamo ported stock tb and MSD, ported heads by AHP, BTR Stage II cam, AR headers w/ catted x-pipe. 91 octane.

Should be a solid, true 550 rwhp car...with excellent street manners provided you have a good tuner.

I'm planning to take it to Doug Rippie Motorsports in Waverly, MN in early April.

I'm still considering something a bit more aggressive. The guy in the second post said "go big early."

I don't know if it's truly my daily, but if its nice out I'm driving it.

No, I wouldn't...that's a great cam .646 lift (intake) is getting close to the functional limits of the stock rocker arms.

Default to E85 or to not E85

I don't know why but I was thinking about this today. It's readily available in my area and I'm not concerned about the reduction in fuel economy. Initially, I was going to do a couple mods at a time, but now I'm pretty much doing it all at once and haven't went cheap on anything. I have a month to think about it. Also, how much extra would it cost for the conversion and labor involved?

You really need to go high compression to see a significant gain with using e85...
