[Z06] Aftermarket heads?

Aftermarket heads?
Just picked up an 08 z06. My goal for it is a 600whp daily. I figured i would start with the heads due to the valve guide issue on the oem.
what recommendations do you guys have on aftermarket head/valve train set up for a decent daily driver build

A N/A 600 RWHP daily driver is a serious machine. That being said the factory heads reworked by American Heritage Performance, or WCCH, or Katech are plenty capable of getting you there with the right supporting parts, Intake, cam, longtubes throttle body just to name a few. However if I was set on a set of aftermarket heads I would contact Tony Mamo. I am sure he can set you up with everything you need to meet your goal. I don't think you will find anybody more knowledgeable than Tony.

Just my opinion, but if you are looking for 600 n/a rwhp, I would contact whatever shop is going to do the work and discuss what you are going to need to get there, safely. I would not want to just throw this and that on the car and hope it makes what you want. Plus, 600 rwhp on a DD?

I would agree with guys above take it to a shop that has done a lot of them and pick out a predyno proven set up from them. Depends on what your final HP you want is given a daily driver which may have some bearing on it if it is NA a boost car 600 rwhp is fairly easy and very drivable. Drive in drop it off and come back 2-3 weeks later and shazam. Don't piece together get a predone Kit.

AI heads with enough cam (RPM package)
Mamo TFS setup
Or just get guides/maching fixed, and throw 5-6psi on it.

I'm running a 600+ WHP NA Z06 that can be easily daily driven even though I don't. AHP did the work but I also collaborated with a couple different vendors putting the overall package together.
The right combination of parts is critical.

Curious to hear what parts you have to get there. Can you elaborate?

I'm on MAST 305 heads and the Race Proven Motorsports (RPM) cam. They were great on parts and helped me nail down a great cam. Car makes great power and is a ton of fun. Here is my build thread...

My car is making dang near 600whp and, even though I dont daily it, I would have no problem daily driving it.
