Airbag warning light
My airbag light is on constantly I've tried moving the seats around and harness and it never goes out, but I haven't pulled the seats yet to look.
I'm curious if my steering wheel clock spring was damaged when my motor was pulled out last summer. I had a shop pull the motor and prior to that the light wasn't on. I've checked the front sensors, and they look fine.
What scanner can tell me which sensor is faulting out?

I saw that it was a common issue, but i saw most people say moving the seat around would cause the light to go off and on. I don't have that, just trying to see if I can do a little more diagnostic before pulling the seat.
I sure as hell can't get my hands under the seat to throw a zip tie on it.

I had the same problem last week.
In my case it was a damaged wire about 2" from the front drivers side sensor.
While it was in the shop they also did the factory recall on the wire connections under both seats.
BTW, not sure what reader it takes to see the airbag codes but my local dealer had it.

The factory recall cuts the plug out and solders all the wires together. It works great... until you need to pull your seat for whatever reason. Then it's disconnect the battery, mark the wires and whip out the wire snips.
I did the zip tie mod to the plug and it solved the problem for a year or two but eventually that stopped working so I went with the recall.
Moving the seat and wiggling the wires never had any effect on the airbag light on mine.
