You can get great deals on Michelin pilot sport cups 2's, the 345's for the back were from fleabay at $600 for 2 and 285's in front $345 each...discount tire even sold me insurance on the 345's I bought on the bay...

You purchased 345 Pilot Sport Cup 2s for a 19" wheel? Where exactly? They don't make this tire.

TR does not list any 345/19s in the PSC2. and any of the 325s are Porsche designed tires.

Curious if your rad has an integrated engine oil cooler...meaning the OE air-cooled unit has been removed or not? Lots of guys swap in a Dewitt's to do this...the OE air-cooled unit keeps oil temps too low on the street most of the time.

No I saw the original oil cooler it's a little bent on top.

Gotcha....I scraped mine. Went with OE ZR1 rad and oil cooler setup. No more sub 170* oil temps on the street.

I don't get it why does the z06 have cooler oil then the zr1 I thought zr1 was the more focused track car. Or was it cause the z has the 427? No clue

ZR1's uses coolant to cool the oil, and by 2011, GM used the same oil cooler on the C6Z. The front mount air-cooled oil cooler is great on the track, but mostly it's too efficient for the street. Should never go wide open on the motor until oil temps are at minimum 160*...preferably 170*+

06 to 09 or 10 Zs had air/oil cooler that overcooled on the street and undercooled on the track. The ZR1 had a water/oil cooler that had good oil temps on the street and undercooled on the track. 2010 or 2011 Zs got the ZR1 water/oil cooler. I have the DeWitts radiator with integrated oil cooler (and HCIE) and it heats the oil for the street, but still undercools on the track, but 290* is OK for M1 0W-40 and other oils, but too hot for M1 5W30.

The Z06 was the more road course oriented car due to its lighter weight (200#+) and better weight balance.

I found mine on eBay; but picking are slim right now. Watch carefully more will be posted. I'll look who I got them from on Paypal and PM you, as you can call them and find out if they will have more. They were a legit tire store in Florida.

these are listed as used at 8/32's
Pilot Cup Super Sports 345-30-19

Pilot Sport Cup 2's 345-30-19...listed per each, I got mine as a pair at $600
Pilot Sport Cup 2's 345-30-19

Otherwise there dont seem to be any right now, I'd stay posted as they have been on eBay. Seems like they have lots of the older Pilot Sport Cups.(those were short in suply when I bought my PS2's.

There are some of the Pilot Sport cups, which will get lower milage than the PS2's which is why I went the P2 route. These are 2 for $495

Pilot Sport Cups

Here was the eBay auction I did a BIN - at the bottom of that eBay shows multiple auction for PS2's..more people to contact as you look. Don't give up; they are newer tires and should be easier to find, it might take a month or so. Like I said..there were not many of the Pilot Sport Cups then, and there are scads now..go figure...

Pirelli P ZERO P355/30ZR19

And...here are the matching 285-30-18 viper tires needed for athe correct Z06 staggered setup. Hey I didn't know you had a Z06 AND a Z28 ...just like me...I'm missing the other toys you have.I am assumming your the same guy over on Camaro5

I drive strictly on the street between beer joints. Wrapped Aluminum duct tape around the cooler out front. Now the oil temp pretty much mirrors the water temp. Just how I like it. About 190* cruising on freeway and 200* around town.

Both those in bold are PS2 not PSC2's The PS2 is the predecessor to the street PSS. The PSC is the predecessor to the PSC2 DOT competition tire.

Additionally, the PS2s he listed from Ebay are DOT date coded from 2007 and one of the tires has a patch. The same ones are listed in the for sale section of this forum by the same seller trying to unload these junk, dangerous tires, which should be scrapped. Only a fool would put these tires on his car. You couldn't give them to me. Be wary of used tires on eBay and always know the DOT date code before buying (even new). Also, as Dave mentioned, you need to make sure you differentiate between PS2, PSS, Cup and Cup2. All of which are different tires.
