Looking for info on my z06
Hi all. I bought this car back in Feb. Just south of Dallas. The guy I bought it off of didnt know much about it and didnt have the car that long. He said he bought it in Arkansas. Does anyone know the car or previous owner?
Im just wanting to know if the heads were done and if it has a tune or not. It has akropovich exhaust and bbk aluminum air filter.
Thanks, Matt
Here are some photos the guy who I bought it from used in the ad.
Edit: its a 2008 model

How do you like your Akropovich exhaust? I have the same exhaust with carbon tips on my 2008 Z06 which like you purchased in Feb. I get a lot of gurgling on deceleration, which I believe is due to stock H pipe. I hear X pipe will fix that some, but I'm starting to like it.

The Akropovich is starting to grow on me. I was wanting the more European sound and had a Corsi in mind. I was looking at Ferrari 360s before this. After driving it around and getting the battery fixed in my wild to mild switch, I think I will stick with the Akropovich.
And mine has the burble on decel as well.

I just removed my Mild 2 Wild remote switch. I just finished pulling the cigarette lighter out and replaced it with an on/off led switch about a week ago. Now its in the same place every time!

Thanks. The wheels are the Strasse Forge sm8. I have the stock wheels to.
To the best of my knowlege the car is just lowered on the stock bolts. The 20" wheels just fill the gap and make it look lower.
I know the shocks are stock by looking at them when I got up under the car changing the oil.
I plan on buying those modified bilsteins that everyone runs. I dont have plans to track the car, just cruise around and enjoy it.
I found a timeslip under the seat. It was running at Centerville dragway Arkansas 3/26/16 for a 1000ft test/tune.
Edit: I guess the next step is to pull the valve covers and see if the headbolts are stock and take it to a tuner to see if the car has been flashed.
