Who is going to win a straight line, C6 Z06 or SRT-10 Viper?
Lets hear it fellas...what are your predications? Will the C6 Z06 beat the SRT-10 Viper in a straight line? 0-60? 0-100? 150?

whats this? i hear 450 hp for the first year and maybe a bump in the 2nd year? Check out the Z06vette forums in the C6 Section, someone mentiond 450 hp in the 1st year. :confused:

It has already been officially announced that it will have 500, and with the Blue Devil coming out, 2900lbs, and reportedly 625hp from every sounce imaginable. HEH HEH well, :eek:

I think the car will be able to get to 60, 100 and up to 150 if the C5 Z06 can do it....

I really think the new zo6 will tear that viper apart. We've been back quite a ways in the HP department over recent years, but the vettes esp the zo6 have really held their ground. Now w/ an equal power output... and significantly less weight than the viper :smash: :smash: :smash:

Ive based my statements on credible sources. The Z will be coming in very light and very fast. Whether its 450-475-500 hp im gonna give the edge to the Corvette. It seems they get the most out of their setups. JMHO
Now I am not a viper fanatic or anything like that, I haven't heard that they have anything planned to counter the next gen ZO6. If im wrong, however please "enlighten" me. :cheers: :cheers:

450 HP at 2900 lbs is ok.

since the SRT-10 clicked off two 11.8 runs in MT.. i think the new zo6 will do at least that.
If we are lucky and get the 500 hp within the first couple years, i can see mid-low 11's.

We are starting to get into the "what if" category.
Starting to, we're in an entire "what if" thread. GM has released nothing on the Z06 yet.
