Default $3,000 GM Card points off your new C7, asking $2,200

Price Drop to $2000

I have over $10,000 in earnings available for anyone who is looking to save on their new 2014 Stingray. GM has a maximum Redemption Allowance of $3,000 on the 2014 Corvettes.

Negotiate your best price with the dealership, and then use my points for a further $3000 reduction.

Asking $2000 for $3000 in savings; effectively saving you $1000 (plus any sales tax savings due to the price reduction). Please send me a private message or reply to this thread if interested.

I would think $1,500 for the Points is a better deal for someone. You make $1,500 and they get an additional $1,500 off.

Sure that would be a better deal for 'someone', but, not a better deal for OP...

No duh!! What I'm saying is the for only an $800.00 savings it's really not worth it. The win/win is to give the OP $1500 and save $1500.

1965rld: Please try to keep my thread civil. If you do not have anything to say to help my thread, just keep it to yourself. I am not going to your thread to discuss your C7 for sale.

Thank you.

He will lose over $10K on a car he owned for a month and he is giving you advice.

You have no idea what you are talking about. By the way I wasn't telling anyone how to sell anything. I was just making a suggestion. You guys are really sensitive on this subject. I have seen other threads on the forum of guys offering GM points for sale where they sold them for half. I apologize for offending anyone. Just a suggestion on what might work better.

By the way I decided to order another vette and I would be interested in the points for $1,500.

Is this even possible or legal to do? I have 3K in points also and not planning to buy a new GM product anytime soon.

Although I had intended to include a 'smiley' in my reply, the point still remains. The value of this deal is subjective. It might be worth to 'someone' to go through this effort for $800 saving, even if it's not worth it to you.

Just not sure if it's in good taste to comment on OP's asking price when you yourself aren't interested in the deal, especially when not just a month ago another guy in this forum (C7 TX) got $2250 for his $3000 points. OP doesn't seem too far off it seems. Don't get me wrong, $1500 isn't a bad offer, but, why not make it an 'offer' instead of commenting on what the price 'should be'?

FWIW, if you are looking for a 50% off points deal, I'll gladly do business with you next time I get a 'top off' (just sold mine 2 months ago). But, for guys who are selling 'real' points, and not 'top offs' I guess they can afford to hold out for a bit more. I don't begrudge them for trying either.

If your not advancing the sale, don't post. Good luck to the OP.

Yes, I will have to add an authorized user to my account before GM will allow the points to be used on the buyer's new car. Anyone who is interested, please send me a PM and I can explain further.

Thanks,
John

GLWS. This is a great deal... unsure why the forum typically resists saving money on new cars. The way I see it, its a win-win for everyone.... buyer, points earner, and GM. I have done this before with great results.

I've already done 4 forum members in a week at $2,000 each so be patient and you will get a fair price for your points

To anyone interested, I will also accept $2000. When I had made the thread, no one else was offering points, so I started high at $2200. I see now that a more fair market price is $2000.

Thanks guys. Send me a PM if you are interested.
