Default Ordered Z06's are MSRP at MacMulkin

Due to the response on the Corvette Forum, Tommy Jr and the Corvette Team,
have decided that all Ordered Z06s will be sold at
MSRP With ZERO Doc fees.

Long term Corvette relationships are more important to us than short term gains.

Given your dealership's excellent reputation I am not surprised.

Can anyone answer this? GM Employee program - does doing a build to order affect the allotment space for other Z06's? I'm trying to find a dealer to do this although I know I may be smoking crack for asking.

What I am surprised at, is MacMulkin's bone head decision to gaff customers with a $5k over MSRP override, then retract, only because of CF member pressure. That decision speaks volumes to me.

We should all just hold off and not buy any...then they will be discounting them as leftovers.

You should be able to find a dealer that will take MSRP for a new Z.

If you are one of the first, then expect to pay through the nose. No secrete here..

Many dealer sales people are trained to say anything to make a sale. They know nothing they say verbally is legally enforceable. In this case, the OP had documentation but even with that, he couldn’t get the dealer to honor the deal. Lesson is only work with dealers that have a reputation of honoring the MSRP and allocation list such as Kerbeck, McMullkin, Les Stanford, or Criswell. There may be others but these are the ones that come to mind at this moment. Classic Chevy in Grapevine is another one.

Plan B, Buy a C7 and he can enjoy it NOW vs waiting into next year at some point.
