Default Help with a price.

I saw Kerbeck has a 2014 C7 vert. He's giving $5000 off. How likely are they to give more off if asked, or am I dreaming? Thanks Alex

As my Father always said, it doesn't hurt to ask.

Let them know you are a Forum Member and they might give you the Super Duper Discount Price, but you have to know the Secret Handshake.

In a seriousness, as the 2015's roll in I would think they might nudge the number on a 2014 a little bit your way.

5k off a Vette as new as this is really good. Being a '14 however, they might have a little more room for negotiation. Like was said previously, can't hurt to ask

At this point, I wouldn't pay more than Invoice - 5%

It will be hard for you to find a dealership to do that but you can get a 15 at Supplier just by joining a credit union. You will have to wait a few months to get a car but in the end you have a car that is a year newer ($2-3k more on resale) and possibly options that you might appreciate.

Wait a minute Alex.....you could set yourself up for the embarrassment of your life by asking for a bigger discount. They might say stuff like," You want more off with just a phone call"?...or..."You think yer special being a junior member of sum automobile buff web site"? Then there's the fact you work for an "ice cream shop"....sure to be all over for you then as they laugh you off the line.....I wouldn't risk it!

alex , I think it would be a great idea to ask since Macmulkin is giving $6000 off non z51 verts. I really doubt that anyone at kerbecks would disrespect you for asking.

Thanks I'm going tomorrow to take a look at it. If I don't make a deal at least I got to see Kerbecks selection. I have a number in mind and I'll have to see what happens. I know with not financing they may not want to move as much as I like on the price. Thank you all for your advice. Alex
