2014 1LT Fair price? Looking purchase today
Looking at 2014 used 1LT with 535 miles on it for 48k. Just wanted to know if thats a decent price currently on these or what everyone else is paying.

depends where you live and how far willing to travel to get one. Kerbeck has the best deals in hte country usually... generally about 10% off MSRP on the left over 2015s as 2016's approach. i believe you can get a 1LT 7spd (as base as it gets) for $51k or $52k from them (MSRP would be like 55,995)
Might want to check that out and consider.

If that is a base M7 car, with no other options, it listed for $51,995 new, and could have been bought for as little as $48,000.
It being almost 2 model years old, even with basically no miles I would expect that car to sell for $44-45,000.

Calculate what that identical car would sticker for priced up as a new 2015 right now and deduct 16-18% from it. A bare bones 1LT coupe is $56k. Most have a few options though. So, if it stickers for $60k, it's worth high $40's with those extremely low miles.
It is still a one year old car as of right now. The value will drop some after the 2016s hit the streets, which will be in July.

Thanks guys. I thought it was a little high but in my area they are still selling for low 50's. I'm in OHIO and its a velocity yellow 1LT. No extras. They offered 28,900 for my 2011 2LT with 15,135 miles.

However, where you could only find sticker prices last year, demand has fallen and at the high volume dealers you can get 10% off or so from sticker.
Kerbeck website has basically all 2015 variations for 10% off msrp... As well as some of the other top volume dealers around the country... So you're right back to paying about 51k for a base model

Not sure exactly what you mean. The 2014 originally was base price of 51k, then mid production they raised prices by $2k to 53... And now for 2015 the base model is at $55k.

I just glanced and it looked like one was saying you could get the same car for either 51 or 55. I see now that one was stating msrp I think, the other stating what you can actually get the car for.

Decent deal. No matter the original MSRP because it was probably 2013 dollars and not 2015 dollars.
Bottom line it's 6-8% less than new price.
People are comparing dollar to dollar for MSRP. I guess for those people their bills for things like dinner and groceries haven't doubled over the past two years like mine.

I felt like it was a decent enough deal to buy the car. Seems like a lot of people are trying to get out of the C6 for the C7 and it's kinda temporarily keeping the used prices up for now. I figured I'd take the plunge now because its the exact car I wanted color and all.
