What is a fair price for a used C7?
Im looking for z51, 2lt, 7spd.
Was offered 14, z51, 7spd, 1lt for $50k (6k miles). Id like to get him down to 48, but looking at the things 2lt offers, id rather go for that (no navi and heated seats in 1lt ).

Value on a used 2014 2LT Coupe with 3-6k miles in excellent condition can range from mid $50's and up, depending on what options it has besides the Z51 option.

I was quoted $58k for a brand new 2lt, z51, manual. Its with all the discounts.
Is $54 a good deal? Id rather be in low low $50's, like 52. Is that realistic?

In most cases, with the good around 10 percent discounts on new from top forum dealers, I would just buy new. Prices on first year 2014's are generally still too high. The 2016's are right around the corner, which will make the 2014's 2 years old. You might be able to find a good deal on a 2014 in another 6 months or do.

50k for a 14 Z51, 1LT is a good deal I have only seen one other sell in that range. 58k for a new15 2LT is a smoking deal. I have been looking for one and have not found one under 62k and that's with some great discounts.

On april 4, 2015 this car sold for $65,980.00.. So, the values are really determined by how much someone is willing to pay and where you live does have a contributing factor.

Pricing is just silly (high) on used Vettes commonly more than they cost brand new 2 years ago, but it's a market economy.
I am a real buyer for a reasonably priced 2 year old Chevy which even with very low mileage and perfect condition should be 25%-30% off of MSRP (pre taxes). If I wanted to pay new prices, I'd buy new, have the newest model year with a new warranty, have exactly my options and color, and not have too spend $2K to go get the car.
I'll get mine in a couple of years I guess when they get to the low $40Ks. I can't believe I had the chance to order a new one loaded exactly as I wanted for $57K 2 years ago, and now used ones still cost that!

Around here (SF Bay Area) the prices for used C7's are also pretty silly. Most with low miles are pushing right up against what a new 2015 would cost.
The one you were offered for $50K seems like such a low price to me, that I'd be worried it has something wrong with it. Of course, have it checked out and make sure the seller will provide the service records.

Kotic, the C7 is A popular car.If I was in your shoes I would get one when available.I mean
When I was buying mine and I always wanted it to be $1,000 to $2,000 lower I would still be
Looking. As it is I'm out driving the beast every day.

I just got out of my '14 Z51 1LT M7 Coupe with 13k miles for $58k! Figured in 6 months the price will plummet below $50k so it was a good time to exit the vehicle with no loss. Actually, I owned another C7 before this and sold it at the peak of demand right in early 2014 when Z51 was on severe constraints. A dealer from Canada paid me $10k over what I paid new and I put 7k miles on it. So in a sense, I drove 2 C7s for about 18 months for free! Just need to find the right buyers and exiting the vehicle without a loss (or minimal) is very doable.

I would say 85% of C7 owners are more than satisfied with it.I've put over
$5,000 extras on mine and wouldn't sell it for what I've got in it.
It's just A great car.

The lesson learned here is that buying one new and selling up to two years later can yield not only almost no loss, but sometimes a profit. I call that a smoking deal.
