I find it interesting that people that are not making offers ridicule one that looks too low. It seems to interfere with the sale as much as when telling the seller that he is too high. With that said, I thought an offer by PM would have been a better way to go.
I have had low ball offers in the past and in at least one case negotiated a decent price from the buyer. Anytime someone lays $50K on the table (if it is real), they want to buy and it is just a matter of determining if they will/can pay as much as the seller really wants.
I hope they work out a deal.
