Please be careful selling on Craigslist. My neighbor was just carjacked on Wednesday selling his 2006 BMW on Craigslist. He met a girl at the local Wawa who had been texting him for a week about the car. She wanted to test drive and while driving said her father was at his friends house and wanted to show him. Neighbor said sure. She pulled over on the side of the road in between two houses, she got out of the car and then a guy in a mask jumped in the driver's seat and started assaulting him and pushed him in the back seat. Meanwhile, another man jumped in the passenger seat and tied a shirt around his head. They drove a few miles and then threw him out of the car. Took his wallet, car, watch, and title. This happened this past Wednesday which is still being investigated. Still no car found. The funny thing is I told him to be careful selling on Craigslist and I would go with him just in case. He said no.... I will be ok. Besides him being black and blue and losing his property, he is ok. Hopefully, this ends with them all being caught.

If you deal with CL and you don't carry, you're risking too much. Ask a friend to tail you and make sure everyone's armed to the teeth. Stick to your own territory.

That is good advice. I don't live near a police station, but I typically meet at banks during business hours because they have tons of security cameras and traffic in the area.
