WTT: Superlite Coupe SLC for 2014 or later C7
I am looking to trade my Superlite Coupe for a 2014 or later C7 Coupe that has the following at a minimum:
Z51, Mag Ride, 2LT trim package or better, NPP, low miles.
Seller would add cash. I had the car listed as $89.5k - will drop it to $84.5K for the forum group to move it or create a trade situation. You will not find a street SLC at this price.
I'm still on the fence regarding an auto or stick. The reason for my sale/trade - I'm in my later 50's and have lost my desire to drive a radical car. I cannot get in and out of a gas station in less than 20 minutes it seems re: attention and questions from people. I'm loosing my edge....damn. I still want a performance car with the creature comforts and the C7 meets that criteria. The SLC is a young mans car I guess. Being the C7 market-share seems to be in my age bracket I may be barking up the proverbial tree here, I don't know. It only takes one person....
Here's a snippet of info regarding my car:
Clear title, licensed, registered & driven on the street. This car has NEVER been tracked or abused. I am the original buyer/owner.
Since the "rollers" are fairly "standard" I'll list some of the items that immediately come to mind on mine - for more details visit the Manuf. website. I have the complete build manual along with pictures of build.
2013 build completion date:
Isis Electrical system
Painted body
adjustable pedal box
Complete Rebuilt by G-Box - Porsche G96.50 trans-axle with Gikken OS LSD
RaceLogic Traction control system with digital controller
Tillet B5 Full Carbon fiber seats B5/C/GRP/SU - with Dinamica® suede covering)
TB3 Floor mount brackets B4 (pair)
Heat and A/C - operational
Z06 Wheel/tire sizes (same bolt pattern also)
Uses the GM 2010 or so Brembo brake calipers
New GM Crate LS376 (480hp) motor with GM ECM/wiring harness
Wet weight approx. 2,500 lbs.
0-60: 3 to 3.2 seconds - maybe faster with a better hot shoe
Approx. 2600 miles I believe last time I checked.

I have been to cars and coffee a couple times and parked near Ferrari's, lambo's etc.. - Guess who has the crowd....
Thank you for taking the time to read my WTT advert.

Yes I do many, but didn't want to overload the thread with pictures.
I've added a couple from local cars/coffee and a couple from the Charlotte race track auto fair, with the manufacturer who invited me along. My car is obviously the red one in the group photo.
I have had a couple interesting inquiries but unfortunately they had drive train mods. I'm looking for a stock C7 i.e. one that does not have mods to the drive-train.
I thank you all for the emails and looking.

Love Frans machines. These are awesome cars if anyone has any doubts. The designer of these cars, Fran, has a TON of expertise and has been building racecars all his life. I've done some business with Fran, he's as nice as they come. These SLC's are beasts.

The monocoque aluminum frame, billet suspension & welding is unreal. It's really a shame it gets covered with the body. Here's the left side rear suspension bits -- automotive ****:

Aw I know believe me...that car is a pure machine. He ever take you upstairs above the shop? It's absolute cnc'd aluminum mania up there...lol. His stuff is awesome for sure.
The first time they took an SLC to Thunderhill it was faster in the wet than a certain race car I know was in the dry, and they'd been competing there for years. I'd love to build one in the future and put an LT5 on board.
By the way, I posed a question to Tadge about the use of E85 on the C7's, allowing them a flexfuel option for track use. You mind tossing in a vote so we can get the question asked?
Vote here PLEASE! GLWS brother! Someone is gonna get a beast!
