Default WTB: High mileage or salvage C7 vert

Hey guys
I'm looking for a project car. Details below.
-has to be automatic
-nice if its a convertible but coupe/targa ok
-would prefer it to be loaded
-no performance mods

Open to colors as the car will likely be wrapped eventually.

I'm really hoping to spend in the 30's - 40's. Cash buyer. No bs. I find the right deal, I'm ready to hop on it.

If you have one of know of one, I would appreciate a pm or email.

Thanks guys!

Aj

Yes I did. But I want to buy from private party only.

It's crazy how much people are still asking for a 14 model. 55k + when new they were 60's. Not much depreciation and no signs of it further dropping. If I have to spend 55-60, I'd rather go buy a high mile Gallardo or Aston, Maserati etc. def nice to see these things holding but ... For how much longer?

Hi AJ,

We haven't crossed paths in a while. I finally got down to a 1st Thursday recently....it's been 3 years. I stopped in at a Cars & Coffee last Oct with the C7 vert. I hear they are even turning them away at the gate this year! I'm sure when I see a "mean" looking C7 you'll be behind the wheel!!!

ever see the vipers for sale? you only save like 10-15k (then still have to fix it) by getting a crashed one. Just buy a mint used one!

Hi John
Yes, it's been a lil bit huh! I haven't gone to a 1st thurs at all this yr. I sold my bikes and usually I am running the shop so I can never leave. Although I usually try to send my employees to Dulanos and have one of my shop trucks there (simply street bikes).
I went to C&C this yr. Did you ever see a all black lambo? That's me. I just recently bought a z06 that's ridiculously modified so that one will make a showing next yr as well.

Hopefully your lack of attendance means life is good and you have been busy? Take care and we shall catch up soon!

That red vert at Copart is a nice option for some one. Nickey's blown setup but I am looking for turn key. I don't have time or resources to rebuild a car. But thanks for the links fellas!

Really? I myself love looking for good deals to flip.
I think the cheapest high mileage C7 I've seen was in the 40s
But hey we can always dream of finding on in the 30s, problem is the C7 is very popular. Good luck! Your going to need a lot of it. Oh stay away from salvage titles, that's like having the black plague when you try to resell.

I'm looking for somethig that's really depreciated. The car is going to be used as a rental car. I'm going to try and start a business doing this in my neck of the woods. So I don't care if it's salvage or high miles. It's going to get beat up.

That one for 39,900 is a damn good deal but I want to buy from private party. I refuse to buy from dealers.

Thank you for your input and links, much appreciated.
