I like how they value the car without damage at 121K. With a salvage title that car is no way worth the 50K buy it now price.

Yeah I agree seems a bit high. I'd be a buyer at 30-35. Could part it out for more haha

There will always be the mystery of what exactly was damaged and how well it was fixed. Did they fix it right? You won't know until after you buy it. And that's why it's not worth the risk for $50k.

Ins co probably wrote it off due to airbag deployment.
You'd have to really inspect the front end to see what the extent of damage really is/
Buying and parting it would make more sense

Wow1 I never would have paid that. With salvage title and the cost to repair... maybe a labor of love for the lucky winner.

I wonder what you can't see, and how much its going to cost in just parts and how about the availability of parts.

My guess is they are looking at parting it out. Full drive line, still a lot of good body, good glass, good electronics. Fixing it can't be worthwhile.

Repair estimated at 58K. Once they get into in more, maybe 75K what a total waste! Car will never be same!

It wouldn't cost half that to fix. Those estimates are exaggerated.

I'm guessing an off road excursion with frame damage having hit something like a tree stump or center divider. That would account for the high repair estimate.

Why would something that simple cause a writeoff?
