I'd buy it but I'm waiting for a red or gray one.
There are sooooooo many used C7 Z06s for sale....was everyone just disappointed or what?

This looks like a nice car, but it was in their sports car rental fleet.
I would've paid $400-500 a day to thrash it about.

It still has the warranty, so it might not be an issue.

eBay had a brand new black z06 for 75 grand...why buy a 14k mile rental corvette for 68?

Id buy new and row my own. Plus you could use a few Grand in gm bonus points on the new one.

Correct !!

GREAT deal at Classic Chevy in Sugarland, TX.

I just bought my Z51 on Christmas Eve, or I'd be flying to Texas this week.

I'm not sure why you guys are so surprised at these prices. In November/December Kerbeck had lease specials on the Z06 on their website. You could see the residual value of the lease right there. The first year's depreciation was about $25k on a $90k car. There is still room to negotiate on these prices if you know how to do it. The cars coming off lease had a residual of 60-65k and then likely went to auction being that these are not high volume cars. Clip another 5k off the price at auction and you can guess that these are selling for around $60k (edit - at dealer auction). Don't just look at what the price was new...look before you leap.

Saying prices have tanked is a stretch... most who wanted one and could afford one has bought one. Early adopters as is always the case will loose the most, but those who waited will get a nice discount off of sticker then loose about 10% once they drive it off the lot... not any different than any other new car

If you want to talk about tanking check out the gen v viper prices. Loaded 13's stickered close to 140K now they scattered all over the place for around 80K and likely selling for around 75K.

$70k should easily be do-able.
for scale, here's a 2015 3lz z07 for $80k, was ~$103k new.
$23k discount. Nice find.

Do you think the 2015 warranty being longer (100k miles versus 50k miles) and no Lap Timer/0-60 monitor in 2016s are a factor?
