"Kerbeck does not sell or lease cars in the state of Oregon"
What the hell?
I was looking at shopping for a Z06. And stumbled upon Kerbeck/MacCulkin.. but since MacCulkin is SO far from Oregon, I figured it'd be easier from Kerbeck, til I read the fine print..
What's that about? I have never heard of that before.

There are known states (that do not have sales tax) that exporters set up shop in to ship cars to overseas markets. If a USA Dealer is caught selling cars to these exporters, they can lose their franchise. It's not worth the risk for volume dealers.

Gotta love Oregon with the 4 year tags on new cars no taxes.
200.00 plus your title fee.
Great state to drive and own cars.

I bought my 2016 from MacMulkin they ship to Oregon. Got a big discount and they are awesome to deal with. I special ordered mine and they had allocations to my order went to the factory the same week. It then shipped directly from Bowling Green to my Courtesy Delivery dealer of choice.

Wow, that'd be unheard of in the other money grubbing states here. Tax on used cars, never mind new cars. They're always thinking up new ways of legalized pocket picking here.

That's about $6500 less than it cost to purchase and own a Z06 for four years in the state of Iowa.

True but Oregon more than makes up for no sales tax with sky high property taxes and a income tax rate of 11%!
