Help 2016, 3LT, Z51,Magnetic ride,
I am considering selling my C7, but can't find used car priceing for the 2016. The car is Artic White, Z51/magnetic ride with adrenaline interior, has 7800 miles. Front end rockers boards side skirts, and rear CF APR spoiler. Entire car (interior:exterior) has been treated with Opti-coat, Carbon flash mirrors/ and delete kit. Interior has OEM carbon fiber dash. The car has no flaws. First oil change at 500 miles by my local dealer. Bought new. Can someone give me a fair price point to start?

With no other info from what you furnished, I would say:
Sticker minus $10k (dealers do this on new cars)
From that subtotal, subtract $5k-$7k from that for being used
Should be a good starting point.

Very serious if it is a 1lt with a few extras as a Brand new Z51 can be bought for $57k
erbeck.com/corvettes/2016-chevrolet-corvette-z51-1lt-new-g161557/
the different mirrors, spolier and opti coat are not going to add much value .
If it is a 3lt then yes it would be worth more ..
but if a new Z51 is $57k mone with nearly 8k miles would be around $51k (if 1lt) ?

KBB is a good place to start. Then do a nationwide search on CarMax and look for similarly optioned/mileage cars (they usually have 50-100 C7s for sale nationwide). CM pricing will show you what would be considered on the higher side of retail for a nice car from a quality organization - if you find a similar car for something less than CM then I think you would have a pretty good deal. CM C7s don't last long at all.

Thanks for the advice, I will take it to CM to get a quote just to see if I can the headache of trying to sell it outright.

Do that plus figure the KBB price and expect something in the range in between the two prices from a private sale, I think. Guys in the business I've talked to say that KBB prices tend to run a little high (but KBB actually says their prices should be the beginning point for negotiation, I believe).
Both these prices will take into account your location, since prices do vary for the same car in different locations. (Here in Michigan, for example, prices are affected by the many people working for the manufacturers and suppliers and thus getting lower prices for new cars, which in turn affects used prices down the road.)
Finally, if the CM and KBB prices are fairly close you might go with the CarMax offer on the theory that your time is worth something and you won't have the worries of a private sale, as you suggested.
Good luck.
