What is a good price? 2014 3LT 75K accident
Rear end collision. Don't know specifics yet . That's all the Carfax says . But what strikes me, is that Carfax says 10 miles in September 2014 . The next entry is five months later with 75,000 miles . That's a hell of a lot of driving in five months .
Asking prices $43k. I'm thinking $39.5
I have a history of buying them, driving them, and keeping them forever.
The forum's wisdom is being sought.Thanks.

Probably a mistyped entry.
But if 75K were true, I wouldn't even pay 30k. Much better Corvettes could be had for that much, maybe not c7s, but better. Don't let you emotions drive your decision. Do you really want to pay that much for a car with that many miles?

Well, what are the actual odometer miles now? If low, then likely it was an error (75k instead of 7500 maybe?) Use that as your bargaining chip to drive price down, then contact CarFax and have it removed/fixed
If it is 75k miles, then 40's is overpaying, you can get a much lower miles non-z51 for low 40's

No problem, that is what the forum is for.
My buddy Steve owned the car. About 3 weeks ago he traded it in on a new ATS-V.
he bought the car in January 2015. He bought it from a GM dealer. It was a GM owned car (hence on carfax you will see Michigan car). He bought it with 70K miles. GM had this car sit on the dyno putting mileage on the car. It was a test car. Under GM ownership is when the accident happened. I imagine it was minor or they would have destroyed the car. He paid $39K for it in January 2015.
He then at 70K miles, added an ECS Supercharger and meth. Car ran 10.X something I can't recall. He did race the car on the track a couple times. So the car for 5K miles was a full bolt on supercharged car. He removed all mods, wheels, Z06 accessories off it and traded it into Crown where he got his ATS-V.
That is the history/story of the car. IMO its way overpriced. I am not sure what they gave him, but its worth probably $35K.
The 70K miles are what they are. They weren't normal miles. The car sat on the dyno - I imagine GM wanted to have the car get miles on it quickly to check quality, etc. to see how it holds up.

This is my old car. Yes it was a GM test car. Car is actually in really good shape. I actually bought this car and got screwed with the carfax after I bought it. I went out to Ohio to purchased the car and when I purchased it, it had a clean carfax. GM waited until I registered the car in my home state and then submitted a carfax accident report on the car over one year later. Tried to fight it, but it was not worth the lawyer fees. To this day, I still have no way of figuring out what the accident really was, although there is no sign of an accident anywhere on the rear of the car. My guess is that GM replaced the rear bumper with a brand new one while it was still in there possession. I am not going to comment on what they gave me for the car, nor what i paid for it to begin with, but lets just say they are not making ANYTHING at all. I traded it in for a new ATS-V sedan (reason for it being at a Cadillac dealer). The car saw boost for a total of 2k miles and had a few track passes over its lifetime. Motor was VERY strong and has made upwards of 850+ whp on a ton of methanol and race fuel and took it like a champ. For anyone looking at this car, I would not be scared at all about purchasing it.
