Fair price?
I test drove a 2016 shark grey, auto, non z51, 1LT, only 1900 miles. Dealer asking $53900...is that a fair deal? It does have the black wheels....thank you.

Who knows where the market will be in 2-3 months I'm guessing lower still
for the snowy winter months. Another indication is the number of used vettes selling on this forum although anecdotal information at best the number is not high.
The next few months will be great for buyers who do their homework.

They were selling new base models (without auto or black rims) for about $48k. It was at one of the two big discounters. That price is high for a used one. I'd say the wheels are $600 and auto a couple of thousand. I'd get a new one. Price that exact one new and see what you get for msrp. They discount heavily. A new 2017 will likely be cheaper than the used one. And a new 2016 left over from last year? Even cheaper.
This is what I get from Chevy corvette confgurator:
2017 Corvette Stingray Coupe 1LT, Grey, Auto, Black wheels.
Price $58,665

IMHO, smart move to check here and get more information from other forum members.

That price is close enough that you need to obtain an exact list of the options on that car. You said it's a non-Z51, but does it have mag ride shocks? Before you pass, you need to have the dealer give you a detailed list of the options (not standard equipment) so that you can determine the MSRP, then you'll be able to determine if it's a good deal or to keep on looking. Also, you want to obtain the repair record from a GM dealer for that car. If the A8 has been in for multiple repairs, maybe you want to pass.
