My roommate backed into my C7 early one morning and his insurance covered the repairs (driver-side door had a minor spot where the paint cracked & required re-painting).

The car looks flawless, just want to know if a dealer will see the repair, and if so, if I should ask his insurance for 'diminished value' compensation.

May show up later. 427 2013 in Connecticut has a car fax and now shows an accident. The car fax says they started reporting the accident on 9/19/2016. Accident happened 7/14/2015.
