Default Is this a good deal - 2015 3LT Z06 Auto $73K

http://www.vwofmurrieta.com/VehicleD...-CA/2844816323

I am looking for my first Corvette and as it is going to be exported to where I live in New Zealand it must be pre-registered as GM won't allow a new Vette to be exported.

This one has just been reduced $2K

I have another option for a '16 Z06 1LZ with PDR, 7000mi for about $3K less

I do not know enough about the market prices to know if either is a good deal. I have to own the car in NZ for 4 years before I am allowed to sell it, so I guess not much difference between 2015 and 2016 given this.

TIA
Bruce

I don't know much about market price but a few thoughts:

- 2015 3LZ is about $80k plus $8k 3LZ + $2k Chrome Rims plus looks like Stage 2 Carbon Flash which is $3k for $93k MSRP minimum.

- If the 2016 1LZ ONLY has Navi/PDR, that is a $1.7k option so MSRP is around $83k.

- 2016s have front cameras (which don't come on the 1LZ, only 2LZ and higher) cinch rear hatch, and CarPlay / Android Auto

Mileage is effectively equal. For these reasonse the 15 seems like a better value of the two. But I don't think either are a steal.

Godspeed.

If you can hang tight, I would wait for a 2016 2LZ + .... They should be right around 70-72K now or if not very soon.

The issue is that the car must be pre-registered as GM won't allow a new car to be sold o/seas. I have put a deposit on the 2015 and happy with the dealership selling it. Thanks all the same.
