I would definitely look at one before I purchased if I was you. I've seen them and I don't think that interior will be for everyone. Just my 2 cents, but I'm doubting these will be highly collectible like a 96. No performance difference and not he last year of a model run.

I saw one last month and IMO they are AWESOME. But, as jksvet says, they may not be for everyone. They are a little 'loud' (and I am not referring to exhaust).

This spring at the Indy 500 the GM display had one. You must see the car in person before making any conclusion on if you like tor not. Personally I thought it looked surprisingly good. The color combo is a little "in you face" but it grows on you. The interior is really nice with some added little touches.

Thank you form members. I seen in one of my Vette mag's I get there was a few pages on the Grand Sport, did not know if coupe and conv, or coupe only. I see they both are out there, for us. Me, I think they look good, something a little diff. for someone that wants something diff. Just thinking of long term, will they be worth a little $$$, may take a long time. Just look at the 2009 GT-1, only 125 TOTAL, the $$ hasn't went anywhere. True hard to find, people sitting on them and hopping for something. Maybe some day like these, I still like them.

Your guess is as good as anyones. Sometimes these special editions really hit the emotional mark and become desirable long term. Most times though, the value isn't much different than any other vette in that year. This one would likely appeal to the black wheel dark exterior crowd who also want a wild looking very bright blue interior. Could turn out to be enough of a striking contrast that really catches on, or a real ---- on.
Only time will tell.

I kind of like it, but I had to laugh out loud thinking that if someone did their interior to a base car and put pictures on here we would crush them with bad comments about how it looks... definitely different

Come on man....it's a hideous looking clown car! That headliner looks like the padded room they would throw me in if I ever spent good money on that! LOL

Maybe a darker blue interior would have helped, or Kalahari. That's too clowny for me.

Happy New Year to all. Thank you all for your thoughts on this G S . After reading all again, it reminds me of just who we are, some R, and some D. On this G S , some like it for this or that, some wouldn't even sit in it for a ride. We all do have our likes and dislikes. Thanks for your thoughts. Grass side up.

^^^ Ironic....different strokes for different folks. I absolutely LOVE the Tension Blue. Actually, I think they should have make the brake calipers in Tension Blue too. I've seen one Collector's Edition that had them done aftermarket in Tension Blue.....amazing.
