~Mr Criswell just received this letter that I thought I would share. I always say I deal in High Volume not High Profit...well the "experience" factor has a value as well.
Dear Mr. Harry Criswell,
"My name is Anthony S. and I recently purchased a new 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 from your Dealership.
I am writing you today to let you know that the reason I purchased this Corvette from your Dealership was Mike Furman. I became aware of your Dealership and Mike Furman through the Corvette Forum, first just reading about other customer's experiences, never having a negative thing to say about the man and also by reading through his weekly delivery threads. He is a skilled Narrator.
During the month of August 2016, my wife and I attended our very first "Corvettes at Carlisle" Event in Carlisle, PA. The week prior, I read that Mike Furman would be there delivering a new Callaway Z06 and I thought what a great way to meet the man I read so much about and respect for his knowledge and admiration of these wonderful Automobiles.
Well Mr. Criswell, Mike did not disappoint. He couldn't have been more friendly, professional and accommodating explaining things to wife and I regarding the C7 and your Dealership. I knew then and there that I would absolutely purchase my first New Corvette from him and from your Dealership.
I am new(er) to the Corvette world purchasing my first Corvette, a 5 year old 2008 Coupe, from it's original owner in NJ, who purchased a new C7 (2014) from XXXXXXX Chevrolet. XXXXXX Chevrolet is only a stone's throw from my residence and it's the place I first visited when I was ready to buy. They tried their best to sell me a Corvette, but I explained to them the simple fact that I was purchasing my first NEW Corvette from only one person and that when that time came wherever HE was employed is where I was buying it!
During the Month of October 2016, only two months after meeting your Salesman, I contacted Mike Furman and arranged for the purchase of a new, rare, only one of eight produced, 2016 Shark Gray Metallic Z06 3LZ equipped with the Twilight Blue Design Package. Mike was on time, on point and as always (from what I've read about the man for several years now) the Consummate Professional!!
Mr. Criswell, my good friend liked what I had to say about Mike Furman so much so that he purchased a similar Z06 one week later, in Arctic White from MIKE FURMAN.. We had to travel three (3) plus hours away to buy these cars from your Dealership.
Mr. Criswell, if Mike Furman was employed by a Dealership halfway across this Country we would have made that trip to deal Exclusively with him.. He is that special to this world.
I just wanted to commend your Salesman, our Salesman, Mike Furman and the rest of the Employees at Criswell Chevrolet as they Truly exceeded my (and our) expectations. I have purchased more than twenty (20) new Automobiles and this one by far was the best experience I've ever had.
Thank you for employing such an icon of the Corvette World. I will keep sending referrals to your Dealership to buy Corvettes from Mike Furman as he long as he is still there selling them!"
