ECS and Meth install now DTC codes
Hey guys I've got a buddies 15 A8 that I installed an ECS kit last week along with a Meth kit. I got the ECS IAT breakout pigtail and sensor which I have installed already (spliced into the #1 and #3 wires on the MAF sensor via instuctions). The install of both kits went great I am however getting some strange DTC codes now and I was hoping someone could help me out if they have had any similar experiences.
Here are the codes
P2229
P2228
P2227
which are all BARO sensor codes
P0480 and P0691
which are Fan Control Circuit Codes
Ever since install the fan has came on a few times while still cold and it will continue to run after the switch is off....
Last is a P0113 which is a IAT sensor (high) code
I even wired the maf back up like OEM and I am still getting the codes. Possibly a damaged maf sensor?
I will be calling when I get a chance tomorrow but figured I'd throw this out there to see if any of you guys have an idea.
Thanks

I don't think its shady...when 5 companies sell their products at near the same price, but 2-3 of them know something the others don't its a competitive advantage.
They all publish their prices and every one knows those prices.
Now advertising you have the best prices on something and mysteriously no one knows what those prices are and you don't say what they are, that's shady.

Truth be told, Blown81bu had the problem and I simply didn't wish to assist him quit frankly.
I will be glad to assist anyone else, the problem is simple, the ground for the IAT sensor is also the ground for the baro sensor, so that must be spllced, not cut.
