Default A&A with AFE Power

Has anyone tried using an A&A Supercharger with an AFE Momentum CAI? I just ordered my A&A blower and already use the AFE Momemtum.

I really don't want to go back to the stock airbox.

I would like to know this also. From looking at the A&A kit, it appears that you have to use the factory box, but I dont know, dont have my kit yet... still trying to figure out how to order it and get it past the wife... just got the car 3 months ago.

You can get it to work... Just have to run a coupler and cut the AFE

The problem is it doesn't have any benefit. Therefore if you have the stock intake you are better off using that and selling the AFE and make a few hundred bucks back.

It gives the Z06 a nice increase!
I would think it has a big benefit the little stock filter and box are hardly high performance. Have you seen any one try it?

I haven't personally but I have asked VR. ECS, and LMR and they all told me on a stingray there is no benefit power wise.

Well the I would really wonder if you really asked anyone because it makes no sense. Maybe they don't offer any other set-up. So they never tested them. So of course there going to tell you that.

It has to help the smallish no flow filter and stock box designed for 460 horsepower.
Then funny Ligenfelder says 10 hp for just adding the no flow green filter hardly better than stock it is the same size. The stock filter flows 289 cfm the
the AFE would be at least twice the green filter.
The OP should add the AFE if he is going in for a tune can't do anything BUT help.

Like I said the Z06 picks up 40 rwhp plus on the supercharged Lt4.
You have no idea what your talking about!

Since these things pickup nice power by just removing the filter.

You want me to dig out your old posts where you are totally rude and disrespectful guy? I thought I did pretty good correcting the nonsense you were spewing. I didn't call names like I have seen from you.

Of course the AFE is going to help his kit can't even see where you think it would not since he is adding it pre-tune?

A&A does give an K&N filter for the stock box in his kits and modifiy's the lid for good reason they feel it helps the flow. The AFE would be better
but they are not going to buy you one to use with your kit.
