ProMeth Rear storage Meth Tank
Just wondering if anybody has one of these, or has ordered one, or has even seen one! JDP has it listed for $260. Says it has a 3.2 gallon tank capacity and fits in the hidden rear storage bin on the drivers side. I would much prefer this over using the ~1 gallon windshield washer tank.

Interesting...
I wonder if you would smell the meth vapors in the car since the cap is vented?
Definitely a good location for the tank as long as it doesnt leak or vent too much inside.
I don't want to lose my washer fluid bottle/function this time around.

It is a great purchase. I try to urge all my customers to use that instead of using the washer tank.
It is sealed tight and you will not smell anything or get any overflow into your car. Not to mention it take up zero space for luggage or golf clubs or nitrous bottles

Anyone have any pictures of this installed? Any info on where the low tank sensor gets wired to and if you still need to purchase the lines to get to the front of the car?
I like the idea of the larger tank, I will be getting my meth installed in a couple weeks.

I don't think there are any pics of them yet, I've searched everywhere. But here's a pic off this forum of one installed on a c6. The kit says it comes with 3' of nylon tubing but I assume you would probably have to purchase about another 10' or so to run to the front. I'm thinking of ordering this with an Alky Control kit for my install.

Just an update if anybody cares...I emailed ProMeth about their rear storage tank for the C7 and apparently it's not even available yet and won't be until Feb-March timeframe

If the c7 tank is 3 plus gal's just out of thinking if this one for the c6 would set into the hole but just maybe set down deeper in the hole.
I going to call tomorrow and see what they say on it. If it fits good in the hole without moving around going to get it and call it a day on it.

When I install my meth kit I would only do a rear trunk meth kit, after having the window washer on my c5Z used as a tank reservoir, I found the meth evaporated at a very quick rate due to under hood temperatures. I also went through 2 window washer low level sensors. I used 100% meth.
now in my 335i I had a 2.3 gallon trunk rear mount that I loved and stayed full almost a whole month, although I topped it off every week. After many people saw fires of the engine bay in the 335i (they run hot) it became a safety issue and most people stopped using the window washer kit and used the rear trunk kit.
i think for safety, and holding a bigger thank, good for road corse days, it's a win win.

Apples to oranges. C5's tank is right beside the engine, C7 is down in the fenderwell and won't get nearly as hot, shouldn't be an issue that way.
Either way will work, just sayin'

I'd be interested in this. I would want to see the low level sensor though and see where that can be located on the dash. I hate using the ww tank

The only reason per say I have seen and heard a few after some are very little time it start to leak on the plug that you have to put the meth line in to feed the unit from the washer.
It was over one year but it happen in my c5 also. Plus a good guy in here has a good shop do his meth and blower set up. In less than a year he posted in here about his was leaking.
Plus if I can in no more than 2 years will sale the car for a newer vette are something more. I could just pull parts off and sale them and get some money back. But looks like I will be using the washer in my car unless I can find & bottle that will work under the hood for a time.
