does anyone know who hold the record of the 1/2 for both c7 and c7zo6? and what was it?

Amp went 182. Last I checked that was the record but it may be faster now.

191.8 is what AMP went and set the record with in their C7Z06 resetting their own C7Z record of 182.1

M2K Motorsports went 180.5 mph back in July 2014 which was the record for the C7 for a while...not sure if it's been beat yet or not.

Barely any RWD cars run 200 in 1/2. Can probably be counted on one hand.

Not even the Ford GT that runs 279 in the mile can do 200 in the 1/2. He was still trying to hook up lol

Well I wouldn't look for a c7 TO GO 200 IN THE HALF anytime soon because it takes about 1600-1800 RWHP to do that and that assumes you can get a RWD drive car to hook up properly.

Only RWD car I've seen go 200mph in the 1/2 is a late generation Viper GTS running 212mph at a WannaGoFoast Chicago event back in 2014.

Our tubro C7Z will be doing a half mile event soon. Based on his low boost 1/4 trap I drove the car too (144 mph) on kill with the 15'' setup it should be in the upper 180's low 190's with ease.

Just saw a C6 Z06 go over 205 in Texas last month. Also a few have done it at the Georgia 1/2 mile this year.

Our C6 Z06 broke the 200mph barrier back in late 2014, as well as another customer's C6. We recently hit 205mph at the last Texas 1/2 mile a few weeks ago in the same car without nitrous this time. However no C7/C7 Z06 car has met this yet. AMP is very close with 191 at the same Texas event.

It's gone like 217mph in the half on one of it's mile passes. If he could hook up better it would be even crazier, they've had wheelspin at 250mph

"190 in the half" and "with ease" shouldn't be used in the same sentence.

We went 191 with 15's and 1250ish rwhp in a combo thats ironed out.

perhaps i worded it wrong. yes it won't do it first pass i know, but this car will do it once traction is there and little knick knack stuff that arrises when going that fast is taken care of.
