More concerning, is their lack of concern for popping the motor. I thought they were laughing. They also took it upon themselves to post this on youtube. I wouldn't be really happy with this. Sorry to the OP but I wasn't sure if he knew this existed.

Yep, that's his car. So the car was on the dyno just to see numbers? Anyhow:
1) Car not in correct gear during dyno pull
2) <500 rwhp corrected
3) Peak at 6k rpm

It seems to match. The HP level is the same as the OP indicated early in this thread.

Those dam guys from the 3 diff long azz pulls seems they wanted to blow the motor in the car. Longest pulls I have seen done in a car. If that was my car I would also be kicking some azz in that shop even if I had to use a baseball bat to do so.. Robert

I've heard many times about a car running too lean and it taking out the engine but never one running too rich taking out the engine. And I agree with what the others said, that the tune likely was the cause though I don't know how much that helps anything.

Can we get some details on how the "remote tuning" was being done exactly? Was the tuner using teamviewer on the dyno pc and asking the dyno operator to do things?

If that video was yours...I'm sorry you trusted that person.

Everything about that dyno session was wrong. OP, if this is your car you need to copy this video ASAP and hire a lawyer. And there are plenty of experts here on the Forum you can provide you and your attorney with the facts you need. Good luck man, so hard to watch...

Really no call for that at all. No reason under the sun to do 3 pulls like that. If that was my car I would be in the shop with a baseball bat really. If he didn't pay for a new motor rebuild I really would hate to be him. Robert

Sounds like the dyno had some weird load issues going on.
