I have to ask, why didn't you have A&A perform the install?
Mike, the shop that did the install was actually a lot closer to me. I had visited the shop two times before I decided to have them work on my car. There were c7s and c6s there. Also Camaros , mustang, cts, and hellcats.

I agree, I average about 13mpg in sport as a daily city driver.

It sounds to me like you had an underlying drivability issue before the SC install. You should be getting 20-25 mpg on a daily driven C7. Have 51K on mine and I have about 650 rwhp..

If the tuner knows what he is doing per say shouldn't lose any MPG at all in the car. Now put your right foot into it a diff story for sure.

I am driving 120 miles from mission viejo in March to have Andy do my SC install. I have confidence in him doing it right. I have a shop about 20 miles from me that can do it but I chose to go to Andy instead cause I know he will do it right.

That will be a small drive to know that tune and all will be correct.

Default MPG issues

Jason, the gas mileage is all about the foot and time sitting at the stop lights. I live 3 miles from my work with 9 stoplights between my house and work, I average 13 mpg.

Take a long trip on the freeway and you will see your mpg rise in the 20's depending on how long that trip is. you can even top out at 31 mpg on freeway. A&A SC should not affect mpg unless your foot gets happy.

Buddy not true it has a ton to do with the tuner and how good he is on what he does in closed loop and all of that stuff on the tune.

On a stock 100% bottom end c7 with a blower on it if the tuner known what he is doing. The car will not loose any MPG over the blower being off r on the car AS LONG as the guy keeps his foot out of it.

Plus with how most of these car run rick with a good tuner may pick up like a few .tenths MPG with turning that belt on the blower.

Kinda true. You do lose V4 mode and you do have more drag on the accessory system.

I got about 27-28 on a 5K trip. 2-3 under what you may get in ECO.

Agree the trick here is getting up with a good tuner.

I don't often drive the highway in my Ti blown 'Vette with no 4-cyl mode, but when I do...

The 50 mile average was just over 30mpg, but I only drove around 40 miles, round trip. A few more miles on the highway, and it would have been up to 33 as well.

Sorry for the late response as I finally finished all my midterms today.

i went to see Andy the other day. He was very nice to reinstall the fresh air vent back and the retuned my gas mileage. Now, my mpg is about 22 on highway and 12 in city. My average for the last tank was about 13 mpg( mostly in the city).

as for the fan, Andy said it was normal. But, I still think otherwise. Under the currrent weather in la and my driving habit, I think the fan should not be at full blast at all. From I have read, the temp gauge always remains at 220. But, it is the actual temp that sets the fan off. If this is correct, I think my car is running too hot as the tuner sets to dan to start at 40 or 60% from 185 then 90 from 200 on (I forgot the exact numbers).

what should I do?

i apologize for the late response. You are correct. After my Andy's visit, my mpg has improved a lot. My highway mpg is about 22. My city is about 11. My last tank was 13 something.

i think Andy retuned Sth to gv fuel after 3500 rpm whereas from 0 before
