Default How long will 1 gallon of meth last

Assuming 2 nozzles on a 800rwhp build, how long will a gallon of meth last? I'm looking at a non-washer tank option that has a 1 gallon tank. I KNOW it depends on how hard I drive but there should be some sort of guide. I'm wondering how many seconds or minutes of full throttle I will get on a gallon. How many 1/4 mile or 1/2 mile or standing mile passes will I get on a gallon?

Well given that an M10 nozzle at 200psi flows about 15gph & M15 flows about 21gph for a total of 36gph= .6 gal per minute when running.

To the OP here I would check it and fill it back up after each 1/2 mile run.

Just a stupid question, does your system know when it runs out to instantly pull timing(I presume)?

In real life your usage may be a little different. Years ago when I actually had time when going to the track. My eclipse ran an m10 & m15 duel nozzle set up, car was 680whp at 30psi I would safely get 5 runs in 1/8 mile then fill her up again.

So you'd see a spike in iat's, can you actually see a difference in temp at different rates of meth, I guess I'm wondering if it's adjusted to use just what you need at that load, or is it on or off?

You can fine tune your meth controller to spray what is needed to keep iat where you need it. To little meth and it will pull timing. To much meth and it is either just wasteful or can bogg the engine.

I also again. But it would have to get more than just a little to much. I had a switch in the box go bad and start pumping the meth until it empty the washer. I had meth every place had to remove my intercooler and clean it out.

It was only a little $2.00 switch I had to replace. But man it did kill the motor.

I've done a whole day and 20+ runs with dual 15s, and didn't even come close to using a gallon. Filling up after every 1/2 mile run is crazy IMO.

ALSO but for his piece of mind here. A person really in boost for a full 1/2 run shouldn't really use 1/4 of gal..

I doubt a full 1/2 mile run uses more than 3oz. Let alone 1/4 gallon.

Full run with two 15,s full 1/2 mile on full boost will do more than that for sure man. But still good under the one QT of meth also. I wouldn't think maybe under half of what I said.

To the OP here do a 1/2 mile on your car with a full tank then check it to see what is being used in the 1/2 run.

In my c5 using the washer tank a full tank would last me for 4 good weeks driving around in town. But also I didn't get into boost all that much but did run the car a few times down a 1/8 track at least 2 weekend out of the month. But only about 2 sometime 3 times down the track on weekend. Then maybe the washer light would come on that it was low.

It really doesn't use that much at all.

When I ran the mile event last year I brought my 5 gallon tank with me. Literally didn't need to fill it up for all three days I was there. I used ww tank. I probably ran at least 7-10 runs the whole time.

Pic #8 and #9 in this thread shows my C7 IAT breakout.
I have more looking into the charge tube if you're interested.
