Default Magnuson heartbeat dedicated drive benefits?

I am planning to install the Maggie Heartbeat for my 17 GS within couple of months. I just saw that Magnuson now offers a version that has dedicated secondary drive. This would add a bit of difficulty to the installation as the steering rack would have to be removed in order to fight the stock crank pulley and replace with the one supplied by Magnuson

I understand that with a dedicated drive you can go overdrive and run higher boost. Is there any other advantage of running the secondary dedicated drive, compared to the version that uses the stock crank? I dont have any plans of going beyond 8 psi and would prefer to avoid the complexity of replacing the stock crank pulley during installation

Any thoughts? TIA

For your boost levels you don't need the secondary drive

Further, the steering rack is super easy to remove and reinstall.

Thank you guys. Does anyone think that there is an advantage with secondary drive related to belt wrap or engine parasitic losses?

You definitely want the dedicated drive, it provides better belt wrap, better belt life, an plenty of ratio options should you ever decide to look for even more power. While you need to change the crank pulley with the dedicated drive, you don't need to break into the coolant system so the installation is about the same.
