C7 ZO6 Procharger 1200 hp front pulley problems

Default C7 ZO6 Procharger 1200 hp front pulley problems

Hi

im new to this forum.
i add to my c7 zo6 many upgrades :
416 strocker short block forged from texas speed
AMP heads
procharger F1X 20 psi boost
on Dynojet (hubs) dayno i have about 1200 Hp
the carnckshaft im using is: Callies Magnum 4.00"
Stroke Gen 5 LT1 Crankshaft, Dry Sump
last night the front pulley (original one ) was cut like u see in the pics
does it happen to anyone ?
any suggestions what to put ?

Try calling Redline Motorsports in South Florida..


Is your car a A8 or stick and how is the fueling?

Why are you using the factory crank pulley on this build... go ATI or IW

The car is Automatic 2015
for fueling im using extra fuel line with external bosh 404 pump + Alkey meth kit

driving 93 octan

Looks like the balancer got loose or the key in the keyway was incorrect.

At 20 psi the load on that balancer with a F1X is quite high.

i need it same size as original size

there are 2 place for keykey 180 degree 1 from the other

Man this much money in a looks like a really good build and not spend less than 600.00 more $$ on a part that has been proven in the past to go bad are pull apart.

Im from Israel . we dont have racing and Drag here
im the only stupid one who build something like it here
i spent over 70k upgrades here this car only cost 190k ( we have 200% tax on cars )
believe me if i knew that i need it from the start
it was there

the only problem is because im the only one here with such car so i cant learn from no one mistakes.....
also when i ordered the f1x procharger kit no one there told me i need something ales to change
:-)

but thats life

I do believe but will look in the AM to verify that the Z balancer hub is aluminum. Not the outer ring but the hub its self. So that would explain the failure. Been about a year since when i took dimensions off it.

I did look at the Z balancer and it is as I remembered aluminum. Only the inner part which includes the crank hub. This would explain the failure and it looking like it does.
