Please GM change the mirrors on the C7
Everyone I know already hates the floppy ear droopy mirrors that date back to 1997. Please if its going to be a semi change like the c5-c5.5(c6) at least change the mirrors. You will be surprised how many more people you can fool that the car is a next generation 'all new' car.

It would have made it more interesting if different side mirrors were made!
What do you guys and gals think today?

The mirrors look fine but it would be nice if they were power retracting like most luxury cars have nowadays. After seeing the damage that can happen to a side mirror when someone hits it (happened on my wife's car a month ago), it would be nice to be able to bring the mirrors in every time you're parking it. I know you can do it by hand on all Corvettes since the C5, but that's a bit of a PITA to do it every time you park.

If blind spot detectors were not in the mirrors due to their added weight it's doubtful any power retracting mechanism would make the cut either. Not that both of these features wouldn't be desirable, but in the interest of weight-saving for fuel economy I doubt they will be production items. I actually expected the C7 mirrors to be somewhat different as well-perhaps more angular-but not a huge issue for me.
