And why would that be? Physically larger, heavier, more expensive, and with less HP potential? Seems like a win... err.. hm... maybe not.

I doubt Corvette will be powered by a DOHC engine anytime in the near future. GMPT is just too good at making pushrod engines work well.

I think the OP is an ESL candidate. He was referring to the engine listed in the title of the thread, and wanting the Corvette to have that "same engine". And he's dreaming if he thinks it's going to happen.

If it's that displacement I just hope it's supercharged! Last thing we need is a 10,000 rpm thoroughbred with no low-end torque
