Who wants the C7 to look as much like the Stingray Concept as is possible for a production car?

I would. I have seen it in person and it looks awesome, but I think the stingray concept shoule be something like a special corvette model.

You could have something like Base C7, (Stingray instead of grand sport) and then Z06 and ZR1. The reason I said this is that I've seen many people that hates this concept. Personally I'm a huge fan of it.

I think there is some room for improvement on the concept but I would definitely drive that. I'd love to see the front end of the stingray concept to make it to production for all c7 corvette models.

Also on one hand I really like the back of the stingray concept but on the other hand it losses the traditional looking corvette rear that we all love.

I saw some pics of the concept as a roaster and I didn't like it much (may be a very bad picture...)

there needs to be an option for compromise. Im not going to say i hate the concept car, i just dont want the raw concept to look anything like the C7. The b pillars are far too aggressive imo, the front and rear of this car look like crap, and im not a big fan of the split back window.

Too busy in the front and back...they need to smoothen the lines IMO. As for the split window...if they do bring it back, hopefully its clean and subtle, otherwise don't bother.

The problem with the Stingray concept car is it is NOT a pretty car. It's fine for a show car, but so is the Batmobile (and I wouldn't want to own that either).

It's not easy to design a pretty car. I just hope GM still has the designers who can do it.

No. Some good design elements (mirrors reflecting design of the flags) and side coves, but the rest of the car looks heavy, busy and cartoon-ish and would be a sales disaster. I think that's what the concept was missing, a more vette like nose and tail.

Nice work on the changes; especially the front. The divider for the rear window is toned down to. Still needs a rear bumper similar to the C6 with round tail lights.
I like it when some people complain....it just means the line-up to get a new Corvette will be shorter!

Yes I hope it looks as close to this as possible. At this moment I am on the fence about buying a Gen III or IV Viper and the only thing that is making me wait is if C7 comes out looking like this. I generally hold on to my cars for about 8 years and mod the hell out of them, hence the gen III choice, and I don't want to have to trade in too soon.

Again, Chevrolet, build this now!

okay then, i will go with "Yes"

the more i see it the more i like it, and im pretty sure the actual car would be different enough from the concept to address the front/rear issues i mentioned previously. As for the aggressive B pillars, the design is growing on me. And the interior is killer.

i wouldnt mind seeing only 3 models on the C7, base, convertible, and Stingray (the latter taking the place of Z06 or ZR1). Maybe that would simplify things a bit.
