The HVAC engineer at GM that came up with having ice cold air come out of the dash vents while the heater is on full hot to the floor, must have had a problem with hot flashes, or was a masochist. I absolutely cannot get comfortable with cold air blowing on my face or torso, while needing cabin heat.

The user should be able to set the system to put the same temperature air out of both upper and lower vents if desired. I've seen some luxury cars where the upper to lower temperature balance is adjustable.

Also I should be able to turn the A/C compressor off in any mode, including Windshield Defrost, just as many import cars can.
