Ray Wert is already back pedaling; they have “renderings” based on what someone saw. I don’t doubt they saw something, but GM already stated that the next Corvette would be a contest for their global design studios, so as far as being “the” next Corvette maybe yes, maybe no.

Noon
Like we told you late last night, we secretly saw the C7 Corvette first-hand this weekend. You're going to want to be here at noon when we show you the images we've commissioned. They're as close as you're going to get to the real thing until it's officially unveiled in 14 months.

Sounds like it will be a rendering.

I would think the design and all is done at this point, getting a product, moreso a car, into production takes a long time. To be done when they are saying I couldn't imagine they are still figuring out design.

Needless to say, WTF Ray Wert. It's overdue.

Maybe GM ordered a hit or injunction on Wert?

They're building the rendering out of Lego.

Don't know if this has any legitimacy. Just looks like another C6 render that someone did.

Wow. Lacks 100% of the edginess of the Stingray concept. It's basically a small, predictable progression from the C6, that takes no risks. I am seriously bummed out.

I honestly wouldn't take this image too seriously.

They did what I thought they would do with the rear glass/quarters, but other than that it looks like a c6 with a body kit...

my mind is racing about the possibilities of how real this is lol

Hope you are right. All I am seeing here is someone taking a clean and crisp C6 Z design and futzing it up with some over the top crass "styling" gimmicks stolen from little Jimmy's desk in Miss Roger's fifth grade class. BTW, little Jimmy got an "F" on that home work.
